I did it (mostly) for the money (to help the family).
Earn a master’s, get a raise.
But I wanted something more than a raise (the following year) for the price we’d pay (a year of study and a pile of dough). New strategies and tools to improve our learning environment topped the list.
An online Master’s in Education Media Design and Technology from Full Sail seemed the best fit (even though it was the most expensive option).

Full Sail’s program helped me define, refine, invent, and introduce new methods and strategies in the Mac Lab.
An epic ROI.
Context: I just wanted to sow some seeds, you know, before getting weird again. I’ll credit Dan Pink, Deci and Ryan, Bud Caddell, et al. in 051.
Featured Image: I used lots of free mockups to get the kids’ attention (and to encourage them to up their artistic game). I also turned the text into a T-shirt. (Staff were encouraged to wear college gear on Wednesdays. I got tired of the crappy scratchy shirts from the schools and made my own with soft and comfortable Life is Good solid-color tees.)
